The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion is here to help you effectively cope with difficult life experiences such as losing a loved one or transitioning from work life to retirement. We offer group therapy mental health counseling services for adolescents and adults struggling with concerns such as:

  • Co-occurring substance use

If you need more than just an occasional outpatient therapy appointment, you can join our program at any time. Intensive outpatient programs last 3 hours a day, 4 days a week for 6 weeks.

9:00am - 12:00pm | Monday - Thursday

Designed to treat symptoms of anxiety disorders, including excessive worry that leads to restlessness, fatigue, muscle tension, and sleep disturbance and limits the ability to function in personal, social, and occupational areas of life. You will learn evidence-based techniques to stop symptoms, avoidant behaviors, and destructive self-talk that often accompany anxiety disorders.

9:00am - 12:00pm | Monday - Thursday

Designed to help women experiencing postpartum depression, medical diagnoses, or domestic violence and abuse. Group sessions offered in the women’s-focused track are designed to support the individual in cultivating acceptance and empathy for herself while working through the many life issues she faces. You will explore the effects of shame and self-compassion, and ultimately develop a sense of emotional freedom.

Designed to treat symptoms of depressive disorders, including a persistent depressive mood, loss of interest in pleasurable activities, difficulty concentrating, and recurrent thoughts of death or suicide. Group sessions offered in the depression track help clients in identifying both personal symptoms of depression and the behaviors that perpetuate these symptoms. You will learn techniques to improve mood and wellbeing, including compassionate self-talk, self-advocacy, and behavioral diaries.

Designed to help those facing drastic shifts in mood, energy, and activity levels in identifying warning signs of such a shift and developing strategies to cope during these transitions. You will delve into personality traits and learn coping strategies for emotion regulation.

Designed to help ultimately overcome addiction while managing mental health and wellbeing. Through group topics such as self-care, emotional regulation, and exploring values, you will learn how to better plan and prepare for actions that align with your goals to increase motivation and lasting change.

4:30pm - 7:30pm | Monday - Thursday

Designed for adolescents ages 13-17, facing symptoms of depression, anxiety, a history of trauma, or difficulty managing shifts in mood. Children will engage in self-expression through art to improve self-esteem, explore self-identity and connect with peers in a safe environment.

Group sessions are held on the first floor of TriStar Centennial Medical Park. Complementary valet is available, or you can park in the Murphy Garage located behind the Medical Park building.
