The Memory Care Program (MCP) is designed to provide acute inpatient behavioral health services to patients with illnesses of dementia or other psychiatric disorders impairing memory, judgment, and behavior. Treatment of these disorders is centered around therapies and interventions focusing on each patient's distinct needs and abilities. The Memory Care Program utilizes the GEMS initiative, which is designed to guide care for patients with Dementia by matching staff interventions with a patient's individual needs and retained abilities.
