Behavioral health admitting process

At TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion, we know that understanding the care you will receive with us is a major element of feeling confident throughout your time with us, from admission onward.

More about our hospital

As the only behavioral health hospital in the state connected to a tertiary medical center, TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion is able to provide a full continuum of mental health and medical services, with assessment and referral services provided by the TriStar Behavioral Health Call Center.

Individualized recovery plans are developed for each patient by the team of psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, certified nursing technicians, clinical pharmacists, counselors, social workers, utilization reviewers, dieticians, chemical dependency counselors, chaplains, psychologists, and certified recreation, art, and music therapists.

Goals of mental health care

The recovery team works to educate both patients and their families about the symptoms of their illness, factors which led to hospitalization, and the aftercare needed to prevent relapse. Discharge planning begins upon admission, with a thorough evaluation of the patient’s needs, available resources and assessment of any possible barriers to maintaining stability. Discharge planning not only involves follow-up treatment needs, but also housing needs, including supervised settings such as group homes, assisted living, long term care, or skilled nursing facilities.

All programs are based on the belief that mental illness is treatable in a supportive, therapeutic environment.
